Seeking Volunteers for Art Garden Projects

Parisole Arts has begun planting seedlings for its upcoming Community Art Garden at Hope House! This local charity provides shelter and comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence in the Kansas City metro area. A vertical garden will be installed with an irrigation drip system. We are seeking volunteers for the following opportunities:

Artistic volunteers: Help bring the art garden to life by painting garden signs or making outdoor art and/or furniture such as sculptures and simple benches to enhance the area.
Garden volunteers: If you’re not artistic but have a green thumb, we have a place for you! Herb, vegetable, and flower seedlings will need to be monitored throughout the year so even if you only have one hour a month to volunteer, that would make a difference!

For either of these openings, complete our brief volunteer form with your availability and what opportunity you are interested in. You will be contacted within 5 business days of submission.

Some of the herb and vegetable seedlings in progress are: Parsley, Sage, Basil, Parsley, Broccoli, Large White Onions, Sweet Cherry Tomatoes

Calling All Teaching Artists!

JOIN OUR ARTIST ROSTER OF EDUCATORS

Parisole Arts is always accepting applications from experienced artists to teach lesson plans. We currently offer several art form classes (listed here) however artists can also submit their own lesson plan when they apply. Classes are very flexible, generally last from one to two hours, and are taught at outreach facilities and residence charities, such as YMCA and Ronald McDonald House, throughout the Kansas City area.

Call for Donation and Demonstration Artists!

Parisole Arts is seeking artists to participate in the 2012 Community CART series, hosting a charity benefit on First Friday’s in the Crossroads from 6-10pm each month, March through October.

We are seeking artists each month to provide an art demonstration for two hours (6-8pm) at our benefit in a lovely art gallery setting. This is a paid position.

We also need Donation Artists willing to create a piece to be donated for charity (with the option to show and sell other work at the benefit from 6-10pm). There is a registration fee for Donation Artists. Space is limited and some months may have a waiting list.
